German low-cost carrier Eurowings has announced a new route connecting Prague with Marrakech, beginning on 8 November.
The airline will operate two weekly flights during the winter season, with services from Prague to Marrakech on Thursdays and weekends. Thursday flights depart Václav Havel Airport at 11:20 a.m., arriving in Marrakech at 3:50 p.m., and return flights leave Marrakech at 4:40 p.m., landing in Prague at 9:00 p.m. Weekend flights depart Prague at 8:35 p.m., arriving in Marrakech just after midnight, with the return leg leaving at 1:55 a.m. and arriving in Prague at 6:15 a.m. Flight time is roughly four and a half hours to Morocco, slightly shorter on the return.
The route will be operated using an Airbus A320 with 180 seats, running until the end of March 2026, with a brief pause from 3 January to 15 February 2026. Marrakech, known as the “Red City” for its historic walls and buildings, is a top tourist destination, attracting visitors to Jemaa el-Fnaa square, colorful souks, the Majorelle Garden, and the Bahia Palace. It also serves as a gateway to the Atlas Mountains and the desert.
The new Prague-Marrakech route is expected to make it easier for Czech travelers to experience Morocco’s culture, cuisine, and attractions during the winter months.
