MASAKA, Uganda — The Bell ObaFest Regional Tour made its second stop in Masaka on Saturday, lighting up Chomaz Lounge with Uganda’s biggest beer festival experience that blended music, flavor, and local pride.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with exclusive offers on the new Bell Citrus and Bell Honey the night’s entry ticket as the mouthwatering aroma of roasting nyama choma filled the air, setting the stage for a celebration of Masaka’s vibrant culture and creativity.

The event was hosted by MC Marvin Solo, who hyped up the crowd before DJs Mel Pro and Bratta took over the decks. But the loudest cheers were reserved for hometown favorite Suuna Ben, who received a hero’s welcome. His signature “kinyanya nyanya” session had the audience dancing, waving tree branches, and showering him with love a clear sign of Masaka’s deep connection to its homegrown talent.

The energy reached new heights when Nandor Love hit the stage with her hit “Kinawolovu.” Her commanding performance, featuring tracks like Mpologoma and Gukuba, captivated the crowd and underscored ObaFest’s mission to spotlight Uganda’s rising stars.

Bell Lager’s Sales Manager, Herbert Ndugga, hailed the Masaka stop as a huge success. “The energy at Chomaz was phenomenal,” he said. “This year, we’re taking the party across Uganda so everyone can find their flavor with ObaFest and Masaka truly delivered the spirit of enjoyment.”

As night fell, the celebration continued with DJ Woodgates, who kept the crowd on their feet until dawn. The Chomaz Lounge event capped off a week of lively activations around Masaka that built excitement ahead of the main festival.

The Bell ObaFest Regional Tour now heads to the West Nile region, with its next major stop set for Arua’s Capital One Lounge on November 8th. The tour will culminate in the grand finale at the Millennium Grounds in Lugogo, Kampala, on November 15th. Tickets are available at UGX 30,000 via FlexiPay.
