Millennial Potash has reported exceptional high-grade drill results from its Banio Potash Project in Gabon, reinforcing the site’s potential as a world-class resource. The standout result came from drillhole BA-001-EXT, which intersected an impressive 220 meters of potash-bearing rock. Within this interval, over 112.5 meters consisted of carnallitite seams averaging 15.9% potassium chloride (KCl), based on a 13% cut-off grade. These figures not only surpass previous drilling outcomes but also confirm the continuity of mineralization across six distinct evaporite cycles, extending the known deposit to approximately four kilometers.
The scale and quality of these results suggest a significantly thicker and richer potash deposit than previously modeled, with strong implications for future resource upgrades. Banio already boasts an Indicated Resource of 657 million tons and an Inferred Resource of 1.16 billion tons, both grading around 16% KCl. The new data from BA-001-EXT is currently undergoing further analysis in Canada, while results from drillhole BA-004 are expected to follow shortly. These developments are poised to enhance the geological model and support the next phase of exploration and development.
