MTN Uganda has solidified its position as a powerhouse in both telecommunications and corporate responsibility, emerging as one of the top honorees at the Brand Africa 100 Uganda Awards. The company swept multiple categories, including the prestigious Grand Prix Award, a testament to its enduring influence and commitment to excellence across the continent.

The accolades reflect MTN Uganda’s multifaceted impact, with recognition as the Most Admired Telecommunications Brand and Most Admired African Brand, both through aided and spontaneous recall. The brand also earned the title of Most Admired Brand BRICS+, underscoring its global resonance beyond African borders. Notably, MTN Uganda was celebrated for its contributions to a better Africa, receiving the award for Most Admired Brand Doing Good for Society and Environment—an honor that speaks volumes about its dedication to sustainable development and community upliftment.

This particular award was received by Bryan Mbasa, Senior Manager at MTN Foundation Uganda, alongside his team, and was presented by Hon. Kabbyanga Godfrey Baluku, State Minister from the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance. Their presence at the ceremony highlighted the collaborative spirit between public institutions and private enterprise in advancing national goals.

Through these wins, MTN Uganda not only reaffirmed its leadership in the telecom industry but also showcased its broader vision for Africa’s future—one rooted in digital innovation, environmental stewardship, and meaningful social impact. The recognition serves as a powerful reminder that business success and societal progress can go hand in hand.
