Musician Weasel was hospitalized with multiple leg fractures after being knocked down in a violent incident at Chans bar in Munyonyo, Kampala. Eyewitnesses reported to Kabalagala police that Sandra Tete, his wife, was responsible for the attack. Sandra was promptly arrested and is currently held at Kabalagala police station.

According to police statements and Sandra’s own account to detectives, the couple’s troubles began earlier that day with a heated domestic quarrel. Sandra claims that Weasel chased her and their children from their home, prompting her to seek help from his parents. However, rather than offering support, his parents insisted she return home. Upon her return, Sandra alleges, Weasel’s abusive behavior continued, escalating tensions further.

The confrontation culminated at Chans bar, where the couple’s dispute intensified. Sandra told detectives that during the quarrel, she entered Weasel’s vehicle and deliberately knocked him down. Witnesses corroborated this, saying she struck him three times before police intervened.

Patrick Onyango, spokesperson for Kampala metropolitan police, confirmed Sandra’s arrest and detailed Weasel’s medical condition. Despite surviving the attack, Weasel sustained multiple fractures in one leg and was admitted to Nsambya hospital. Police have assured the public that his life is no longer in danger.

Weasel, known as the younger brother of famed musician Dr. Jose Chameleon, has had a tumultuous relationship with Sandra. The couple’s rocky marriage has frequently led to police involvement, separations, and reconciliations mediated by family and friends.

This latest incident highlights the ongoing domestic strife, raising concerns about the couple’s safety and the broader issue of domestic violence. Authorities continue to investigate the matter as Weasel recovers from his injuries.
