C-Care Uganda recently hosted an exclusive training session designed to enhance the skills of local medical professionals in advanced aesthetic procedures.

The masterclass further solidified C-Care's reputation as a leading centre for aesthetic excellence and professional development in Uganda.

Held at C-Care IHK in Namuwongo, the private session focused on advanced injection techniques, incorporating state-of-the-art products such as Saypha dermal fillers and Botox. The training was conducted in partnership with Enkaja Healthcare, the regional representatives for Croma Pharma. Dr. Ahmed, Croma Pharma’s official trainer, flew in from abroad to lead the session and support the upskilling of Ugandan practitioners.

The hands-on masterclass exposed local aesthetic professionals to world-class techniques in non-surgical procedures, equipping them with the knowledge to deliver safe, innovative, and globally recognized treatments.

“We were fortunate to host a seasoned expert who led a masterclass on aesthetic and regenerative injectables,” said Evelyn Kayanja, a pharmacist and clinical aesthetician at Care Spa IHK Namuwongo. “As a demo model who received Botox, I can confidently say that the procedure is safe, minimally invasive, and far less intimidating than many people think. This training reinforced the importance of technique and anatomy, and emphasized that these treatments should only be performed by qualified healthcare professionals.” Kayanja also highlighted the positive impact such initiatives have on building public trust.

“Many Ugandans travel abroad for these procedures because of concerns about local expertise. By bringing diaspora experts to train and mentor practitioners here at Care Spa IHK Namuwongo, we’re building trust in our healthcare professionals and ensuring that patients can access world-class care locally.”

The event showcased the increasing sophistication of Uganda’s non-surgical aesthetics market, aligning it with international standards. Dr. Ahmed commended the participants' commitment:

“It’s been a privilege to share advanced techniques using products like Saypha fillers and Botox with the dedicated medical professionals here at C-Care. The level of skill and eagerness to learn is truly impressive. As demand for aesthetic procedures grows, such collaborations are essential in ensuring that treatments offered in Kampala meet the highest global standards. C-Care is leading the way by bringing this level of training to the region.”

This training is part of C-Care’s ongoing efforts to expand aesthetic services in Uganda. Last year, C-Care Spa Aesthetic was launched, quickly establishing itself as a top destination for cosmetic and rejuvenation treatments.

The initiative also complements broader partnerships, such as the collaboration between C-Care IHK and Andalusia, a leading multi-specialty hospital in Egypt, aimed at redefining plastic surgery excellence in Uganda. This partnership introduced a comprehensive range of services, including medical plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures, and aesthetic spa treatments.

C-Care Aesthetic Spa offers a holistic plastic surgery experience, featuring treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, laser hair removal, and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy, all provided under expert medical supervision. This ensures that Ugandan clients receive the safest and most advanced care available in the region.
